I am just a normal, everyday mom who is trying to leave this world a better place for my children and teach my children to do the same.

40th Anniversary
We went down to Chickasha today to take mom and dad out to dinner. It is their 40th anniversary. WOW! FOURTY YEARS! It amazes me! Dad suprised mom with some beautiful diamond earrings, but the best suprise (to me) is the trip they are taking in March to Tuscany. I am so jealous! They will have such fun taking in the sights, the art and the food! MMMMmmm!

Anniversary
So, it's officially been 2 years now! Wow! Sometimes it really seems like it has been much longer. I feel like I have known Jenn forever. We had a relaxing day. The boys behaved very well and played together all day with no fighting. They didn't even throw a fit at naptime! Miricles never cease!Jenn made me my favorite thing for dinner: Chicken Piccata. It was so amazingly wonderfully good. She makes the best Chicken Piccata I have EVER tasted! Seriously. And I have had it at some fancy places! LOL
She was going to make some brownies for dessert using the Deceptively Delicious recipe, but our kitchen sink got clogged and I told her not to stress over it all and make them another time. I think she will make them tomorrow. YUM!

Our Anniversary

Well, it's here. We have officially been together for a year now. I cannot believe it, yet it does seem like I have known her forever.
We had a wonderful evening last night. A nice dinner at a child-free restaurant, feasting on brie, duck, and this wonderful four berry sorbet with sweet sour cream on top. It was amazing and I cannot wait to return and do it all again (although, it will probably be Valentine's or something like that!)
Tonight, we had a babysitter for 2 hours that I suprised her with, so we went out to Pepperoni Grill for dinner. We had some champagne, a wonderful meal and some much needed time without the kids. It was a great dinner, too.
I woke up with her in my arms and that is were I always want her. She is my best friend, my love, my joy... She is everything I want and need and desire.I never thought I would find a woman like her.
